Relationship Banker - Multiple Locations

We are currently accepting applications for a Relationship Banker in the following locations: Washingtonville, NY Montgomery, NY The Relationship Banker fulfills multiple branch functions, depending on the needs of the organization at any given time. In addition to overseeing the office teller line, the Relationship Banker completes various platform transactions, opening accounts, provides customer service and assists with business development. Qualifications: 2 to 3 years experience in a financial institution. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of the bank products and services. Proven ability to assess needs of current and potential customers by having achieved results using a needs based sales model for referring and cross-selling products and services. Ability to assist in the development and cross training of coworkers. Ability to provide leadership and to supervise others. Float Teller Opportunities

Walden Savings Bank is currently searching for full time Float Tellers for the following locations: East Region Offices: Middlehope, New Windsor, Cornwall & Gardiner Central Region Offices: Scotts Corners, Montgomery, Washingtonville & Florida West Region Offices: Circleville, Pine Bush & Walden The right candidates will be able to provide exceptional customer service and basic product information, in addition to establishing customer rapport and able to identify cross-sell opportunities. Vice President Commercial Lending

Walden Savings Bank is looking for a Vice President of our Commercial Lending division. This individual directs and oversees the direction of financial institution's commercial lending program. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising all phases of the commercial lending department (business development/sales, credit administration, servicing and underwriting) including staff management, coaching, and development. This candidate will provide hands-on portfolio management as well as leadership for the department in the interest of overall loan growth, portfolio performance and retention/development of business. Major Duties & Responsibilities: •Works in collaboration with Credit Department Manager to develop and monitor Commercial Lending Policies and Underwriting Guidelines for department. These policies are subject to review and approval by bank's Credit Risk Committee and Board of Directors. Presents policies at quarterly Compliance Committee Meeting. •Supervises commercial lending operations, including activities in departments for loan origination and loan servicing. •Assists Collection's Area with collection and workout activities associated with commercial loan portfolio. •Responsible for training of departmental personnel; reviewing and evaluating performance; and recommending salary adjustments, promotions, and other personnel-related actions. •Possesses experience with the Small Business Administration (SBA) as well as sold/bought loan participations. Negotiates loan participations and purchase agreements, inspects properties held for collateral, reviews applicable loan documents, effects settlement, and maintains files and servicing. •Presents and reviews major loan requests, as defined by board policy, with directors and management loan committee for a credit decision. Attends monthly board meeting. •Develops and participates in creating annual marketing programs for commercial lending products and services. •Reports to executive management on the financial institution's commercial lending products, services and portfolio performance at bi-monthly ALCO and Credit Review meetings. •Provides an annual loan origination and operating expense budget for Department to CFO. •Responds to the audits for the Commercial Lending Department from both internal and external examiners. Acts as primary Commercial Lending liaison with bank regulator with regard to safety and soundness exam. •Reviews and comments on various reports such as ALLL, Concentrations, Loans to one borrower and other reports to Board of Directors and Senior Management. •Joins lenders in complex new loan request meetings with commercial customers and prospects. Education & Experience: •Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or finance. •10 plus years' experience in commercial lending department with proven track record of increased responsibility. •Experience working with the Small Business Administration. •Thorough understanding of loan documentation criteria, regulatory environment and strategic objectives for the commercial lending area as established at annual planning retreat. ?Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities •Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Talent for thinking strategically and acting as a facilitator. •Ability to inform, educate and influence staff to support organizational goals and objectives. •Maintains a high quality of confidentiality and discretion. •Knowledge of lending policies and procedures, including state and federal regulations. •Strong financial, analytical, and underwriting skills. •Excellent communication, management, analytical and interpersonal skills. •The ability to interface with Attorneys, CPA's, CEO's, CFO's, and small business owners. •Ability to manage, coach and develop staff. Mortgage Loan Processor

Walden Savings Bank is currently searching for a Mortgage Loan Processor to work in our Florida branch. This individual is responsible for providing quality customer service by obtaining necessary documentation for underwriting the loan file, ordering third party documentation, communicating directly with the customer and/or loan officer in a professional and effective manner to obtain necessary documentation, and provide proper disclosures as required by local, state, and federal regulations. Major Duties & Responsibilities: •Obtain and assemble complete loan package in proper order for underwriting. •Verify all required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file •Verify the application is complete and accurate •Verifies documentation submitted and identifies any potential issues that may arise in underwriting. •Performs a thorough review and analysis of borrower's credit, employment, income and assets as required by the particular program before submitting the file to the underwriter •Directly communicate with Mortgage Loan Originator, customer, and underwriter in person, writing and/or by telephone in order to obtain initial and missing documentation required to qualify for the loan, including but not limited to income information, asset information, credit authorization, trust agreements, purchase agreements, etc. •Review loans for compliance within RESPA, TIL, HMDA, Reg. B, etc. (all mortgage related regulations). Prepare proper disclosures as required by regulations •Communicate with various companies to obtain Flood Certificate, Title Commitment •Verify vendor orders are complete and invoices received •Manage pipeline by reports within allotted turn-around times •Document all communication related to the loan application in the conversation log •Assist closing, secondary, and servicing to obtain and clear outstanding suspense items from our investors NOTE: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties Education & Experience: •High School Diploma or Equivalent required. •Minimum of 3 years residential mortgage processing experience. •Must have general FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, USDA, VA knowledge Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities •Knowledge of RESPA guidelines. •General knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations. Regulation Z and Regulation B requirements, and loan documents preferred. •Previous experience with Fiserv EZ Lender preferred. •Strong math and analytical skills. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. •Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed. •Work effectively in a fast pace environment with low tolerance for error. •Work effectively in a team environment.
