Relationship Banker - Multiple Locations

We are currently accepting applications for a Relationship Banker in the following locations: Washingtonville, NY Montgomery, NY The Relationship Banker fulfills multiple branch functions, depending on the needs of the organization at any given time. In addition to overseeing the office teller line, the Relationship Banker completes various platform transactions, opening accounts, provides customer service and assists with business development. Qualifications: 2 to 3 years experience in a financial institution. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of the bank products and services. Proven ability to assess needs of current and potential customers by having achieved results using a needs based sales model for referring and cross-selling products and services. Ability to assist in the development and cross training of coworkers. Ability to provide leadership and to supervise others. Retail Loan Servicing Clerk

Walden Savings Bank is currently searching for a Loan Servicing Clerk to work in the Retail Lending Department at our corporate headquarters in Montgomery, NY. Successful candidates will have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties, including routine operational tasks related to residential, construction and consumer loans in compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures and related state and federal laws and regulations. Assisting in boarding loans; conducting loan fundings and processing payments or advances as directed; distributing daily and monthly reports; and promoting business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new and existing services. ?MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Researches customer issues and responds to customer inquiries in a friendly and timely manner Processes loan advances and loan payments Processes escrow insurance, tax payments and annual analysis Sets up all loan types on the host system Ensures adherence to bank policy and regulatory requirements Quotes and processes loan payoffs and partial pay down for all loan types and prepares full and partial release discharges Tracks expired flood, hazard and condominium polices and past due real estate taxes, contacts tax collectors/insurance agents and sends letters to customers Assists in records management - creates Excel spreadsheets and list view reports Supports accounting and other departments and cash management for the loan portfolio and all other tasks or special projects requested Continually looks for ways to improve and streamline all aspects of loan servicing Provides back up to the Loan Servicing Manager Prior secondary market experience with Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae a must Preferred experience with Fiserv Premier core origination system? Branch Manager - Middlehope and Washingtonville

Walden Savings Bank is now hiring two Branch Managers for our Middlehope and Washingtonville locations. Successful candidates will have the motivation and skills to implement strategic initiatives, grow the business, and optimize the bank's well earned reputation for distinguished customer service and a far-reaching commitment to our local community. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined education and work experience. Five to seven years experience in financial institution operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development, and public relations. A Notary License is required. It can be obtained within the first six months of hire. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent leadership skills. Talent for thinking strategically. Ability to supervise, monitor, and evaluate the work of others. Good written and verbal communication skills. Head Teller - Washingtonville Branch

Walden Savings Bank is currently accepting applications for a Head Teller for our Washingtonville Office. The Head Teller oversees teller activities, maintains records of vault and teller cash balances, and oversees general ledger accounts. Applicants will provide exceptional customer service and product information including savings, checking and loan transactions as well as money orders and official checks. In addition, applicants will be able to identify cross-sell opportunities and refer customers to the appropriate business partners. Education and Experience •High school diploma or equivalent. •One to two years teller experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: •Good communication and interpersonal skills. •Excellent attention to detail and computer skills. •Ability to recognize customer needs in order to refer products. •Leadership and employee development skills. Walden Savings Bank is currently searching for full time Float Tellers for the following locations: East Region Offices: Middlehope, New Windsor, Cornwall & Gardiner Central Region Offices: Scotts Corners, Montgomery, Washingtonville & Florida West Region Offices: Circleville, Pine Bush & Walden The right candidates will be able to provide exceptional customer service and basic product information, in addition to establishing customer rapport and able to identify cross-sell opportunities. Commercial Loan Administrator

Walden Savings Bank is currently searching for a Commercial Loan Administrator to work at our corporate headquarters in Montgomery, NY. Successful candidates will have experience in a wide variety of duties to including updating and inputting commercial loan data and the ability to assemble and verify loan documents for accuracy. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides administrative assistance to the lenders and staff, including updating loan data for entry into the financial institution's computers and assembling documentation for commercial loans. Ensures loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates and other relevant data. Assembles and verifies accuracy of loan documentation. Checks documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates and signatures. Prepares and generates all documents to assure efficiency and completeness for loan closing in the proper time sequences. Interacts with attorney to schedule/attend loan closings. Maintains new and paid loan files. Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures. Uses department computers for data input and other activities, and orders credit reports. Answers telephone and written inquiries concerning loan processing and information. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Successful completion of in-house training program or approved outside training program. Understanding of financial institution products and services. Computer literacy including basic skills in spreadsheet and word processing programs. Customer service skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of commercial loan administration experience.
