Relationship Banker - Multiple Locations

We are currently accepting applications for a Relationship Banker in the following locations: Washingtonville, NY Montgomery, NY The Relationship Banker fulfills multiple branch functions, depending on the needs of the organization at any given time. In addition to overseeing the office teller line, the Relationship Banker completes various platform transactions, opening accounts, provides customer service and assists with business development. Qualifications: 2 to 3 years experience in a financial institution. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of the bank products and services. Proven ability to assess needs of current and potential customers by having achieved results using a needs based sales model for referring and cross-selling products and services. Ability to assist in the development and cross training of coworkers. Ability to provide leadership and to supervise others. Washingtonville Branch Manager

Walden Savings Bank is looking for a high energy Branch Manager to oversee the Washingtonville Branch who has the motivation and skills to implement strategic initiatives, grow the business, and optimize the bank's well earned reputation for distinguished customer service and a far-reaching commitment to our local community. Part Time - Accounts Payable Clerk

Walden Savings Bank is currently searching for a Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk to work in the Accounting Department at our corporate headquarters in Montgomery, NY. Successful candidates will have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties, including review and verification of all bills for accuracy, check preparation, and correspondence mailing. Research and resolve all open payable problems. Maintain all payable records. Develops and maintains reliable accounting information. MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages and maintains accounts payable processes and files. Includes, processing invoices, collections and check requests. Verifies weekly check runs and reports. Ensures vendor W-9s are current and up to date. Management of the safe deposit box program. Reconciles general ledger areas assigned, analyzes financial accounts and prepares and produces monthly and quarterly reports. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent computer skills, especially spread sheet analysis. Strong attention to details. Ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Retail Loan Servicing Clerk

Walden Savings Bank is currently searching for a Loan Servicing Clerk to work in the Retail Lending Department at our corporate headquarters in Montgomery, NY. Successful candidates will have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties, including routine operational tasks related to residential, construction and consumer loans in compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures and related state and federal laws and regulations. Assisting in boarding loans; conducting loan fundings and processing payments or advances as directed; distributing daily and monthly reports; and promoting business for the bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new and existing services. ?MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Researches customer issues and responds to customer inquiries in a friendly and timely manner Processes loan advances and loan payments Processes escrow insurance, tax payments and annual analysis Sets up all loan types on the host system Ensures adherence to bank policy and regulatory requirements Quotes and processes loan payoffs and partial pay down for all loan types and prepares full and partial release discharges Tracks expired flood, hazard and condominium polices and past due real estate taxes, contacts tax collectors/insurance agents and sends letters to customers Assists in records management - creates Excel spreadsheets and list view reports Supports accounting and other departments and cash management for the loan portfolio and all other tasks or special projects requested Continually looks for ways to improve and streamline all aspects of loan servicing Provides back up to the Loan Servicing Manager Prior secondary market experience with Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae a must Preferred experience with Fiserv Premier core origination system? Assistant Manager - Cornwall

Walden Savings Bank is currently searching for an Assistant Manager to work in our Cornwall branch. Successful candidates will have the ability to perform a wide variety of duties, including fulfilling multiple branch functions while assisting the branch manager in all phases of branch operations and sales. Assuming responsibility for the branch in the branch manager's absence. Providing leadership and operational support towards the achievement of branch goals by identifying cross-sell opportunities and referral of customers to appropriate business partners. Assisting Manager with the ongoing training and development of branch staff. ??MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the overall branch operations. Maintains up to date knowledge of branch security including all branch policies and procedures. Performs a higher level of customer services, including but not limited to opening new accounts, processing of loan applications and complex customer inquiries. Explains available products and services while gathering customer information utilizing the needs based sales approach. Oversees Relationship Banker/Head Teller in the daily, monthly and quarterly branch proof. Assists Manager with on the job training and development of branch staff of product knowledge, sales, service and compliance. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Excellent sales, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to recognize customer needs in or to refer products. Excellent attention to detail, computer and organizational skills. Ability to supervise, monitor and evaluate the work of others. Leadership and employee development skills. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combined education and work experience. Three to five years working in a financial institution.
